Hearing clinics at our practice are run by Amplify Hearing, a nationwide team of independent audiologists. Because Amplify are independent, they can recommend and supply hearing aids from all the leading manufacturers, with advice based only on what is right for you – and their aftercare is free, for life.
Free hearing tests
If you have noticed changes in your hearing, or simply want to check your hearing health, a free hearing test is the perfect place to start. The audiologist uses the latest technology to assess your hearing, gives you clear results on the day, and offers expert advice on any next steps.
Anyone over 18 can book a test, there is no need for a GP referral, and if you are 55 or over you are entitled to a free hearing test and hearing healthcare check-up. A test takes around 30 minutes and is completely painless – and a yearly check is recommended.
Microsuction ear wax removal
A build-up of ear wax can cause discomfort, muffled hearing and even ear infections. For hearing aid users, excess wax can also affect the performance of your device, leading to feedback or reduced sound quality.
The professional microsuction ear wax removal service is a safe, gentle and effective way to clear blocked ears. A small, low-pressure suction device removes the wax without water, providing instant relief.
