Contact lenses
Enjoy the convenience and freedom of modern contact lenses. There is now a type of lens to suit most people’s needs.
For many people, contact lenses are a great alternative to glasses – whether for everyday wear, for sport, or just for a change.
Nearly all prescriptions can now be corrected with contact lenses. As independent Optometrists, we are free to recommend and supply the best lenses from leading manufacturers, including Alcon and CooperVision, and we offer a bespoke fitting service for more complicated prescriptions.
If you have not tried contact lenses recently, ask us about them – ask to hold one and see just how soft they are. And if you wore lenses in the past, ask about the latest designs: with today’s technology they are more comfortable than ever.
Thanks to disposable lenses, children and teenagers can benefit too, even though their prescription changes as they grow. Contacts can often be worn from around the age of 10, though every child is different and we will advise after discussion and examination.
